I joined Clinica is April 2008, having previously worked on its sister publication Scrip.
As well as being Senior Science Reporter for Clinica, I edit the fortnightly newsletter Clinica Diagnostics.
I cover news about diagnostic and prognostic tests, in areas such as cancer, neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s, autoimmune diseases and glucose monitoring for diabetic patients.
In addition, I write about a broad range of topics including spinal implants, surgery and imaging. As I’m a neuroscience graduate, I am particularly interested in this area.
I also contribute regularly to the blog on subjects that are not always covered by Clinica: recent entries include medical imaging as an art and the use of Nintendo for blood glucose testing in children.
