My name is Peter Rixon, I am the Deputy Editor, and also the North America Editor for Clinica.
I focus on activities in the US Congress and in state-level legislatures as well stories that “take the temperature” of the device industry in the US.
The US produces some ingenious devices to help people to continue to enjoy their lives. But, as in many other countries, there is an on-going battle to ensure that these devices reach the patients who need them without letting costs spiral out of control.
In my role on Clinica, I also cover Canada and Japan and follow their regulatory and legislative developments and the trends that affect healthcare in these countries.
