This issue's People Profile introduces a talented pioneer. Limor Domnitz Gishri is the new CEO of Israeli stent developer Allium Medical. At just 29, she is credited with taking the company from R&D to manufacturing and distribution in two years.

She joined Allium in August 2006 and restructured the company's nascent marketing and distribution operations. By the end of 2007, the company was distributing its biliary and ureteral stents to more than nine markets worldwide....
